This is a beautiful trip and tons of fun!!! The Best Boats, The Best Food, Family Friendly. This trip down the lower WI river is very relaxed and easy going. Once we get on the water, we'll be paddling, sandbar camping, and having an awesome time as we make our way 25 miles downriver. Everything is provided from canoes and paddle gear to food and water. This 3 day wilderness canoe camping trip in the Northern Highland American Legion State Forest will be relaxed paddling over a series of quiet lakes with a couple short portages. This is a great beginner canoe camping trip. NOW Outdoors is providing lightweight tandem canoes for this trip as well as PDFs and paddles.
