Island Peak Climb – Nepal
Dates: October 2020
Location: Kathmandu, Nepal
We’re headed back to Nepal for this incredible Island Peak mountaineering adventure. From the 20,305′ summit, you’ll find yourself surrounded by many of the highest peaks in the world!
Limited to 12 people!
This is a fully guided mountaineering trip. We have our own expert Sherpa guides, we set our own ropes, and we have our own high-quality equipment. This is more than just a mountain trek. Participants should have experience at high altitudes, backpacking/camping in wet or sub-freezing weather. While there is no technical climbing on this trip, there will be glaciers, crevasse crossings, and steep ascents aided with crampons, ice axes, harnesses, ascenders, and rope teams. Nickofthewoods will have many opportunities to gain experience in these skills prior to the trip starting right now this winter.
